Santa Barbara Dance Theater: Celebrating 50 years, and Counting
January 29-30, 2027 | Lobero Theater, Santa Barbara

The 2026-2027 Academic Year marks Santa Barbara Dance Theater's 50th Anniversary season, and sixth season under Artistic Director Brandon Whited (Professor/Chair of Theater & Dance).

The 50th season features company members Dalya Modlin, Calder White and Sophie Berls, alongside seven student apprentices: Charlotte Breier, Drew Caswell, Lara van Diggelen, Kate Monney and Avery Trask. The evening will feature new original lighting Design by SBDT collaborator and UCSB Design Faculty Member Vickie J. Scott.

Performances will be held at the Lobero Theater in downtown Santa Barbara from January 29th – 30th.
